Smiling in the rain

I don't know why I'm so smiley in these photos - I tried to cover up my Rudolf nose with make-up but I'm actually suffering from a cold! I guess it must be the autumn feeling in the air, I just love this time of year, when the leaves start falling and everything smells like rain...

I'm also smiley because the lovely Texan treated me to these Kate Kanzier boots which I've had my eye on for a while...What a lovely Texan. Some of you have mentioned not yet seeing his photo - that's mostly because he's the chief photographer and hogs the camera all the time, but I'll see what I can do!

This bag was a gift to my mum from one of her friends but, and I cannot understand why, she didn't want it...so now it's all mine, mwaha! And what's even better is that it's from MaxMara (i.e. a bag I couldn't afford)!

What I'm wearing -

Breton top: Gap

Skirt: Urban Outfitters

Belt: Vintage, Gap

Bag: MaxMara

Boots: Kate Kanzier

Brooch: Sunbury Antiques Market

Umbrella: Cath Kidston

thanks Cat!

yes, i know one reason is he is the photographer. I've come across many brilliant fashion blogs and spotted one parallel: behind every gorgeous photo lies a man, who through his affection towards the woman, captures the essence via the lens to form a stunning picture. They are the unsung heroes who are worth the credit. The photo thing also makes me think of the phrase 情人眼裡出西施 (Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ) :)

There are some similarities in our photoshoot locations. It looks downright chilly in England however! Good weather for those lovely boots (I'm kind of jealous of those). : )

Lovely outfit! Yesterday I saw you with this red skirt in Islington. :) I sat in a bus and saw you walking down a street. It´s always a wonderfully exciting and weird feeling seeing bloggers or vloggers that you´ve been following for a long time in "real life". :)

Very cute outfit!! I adore the red skirt and the booties, that boy sure has good tastes!!

I'm a little jealous that leaves are falling in your part of the world, it's still too hot up here and Canada and green as far as the eye can see...

Still looking gorge - I like the way the pleats are formed in that skirt, if that makes sense!
