Pique-nique

Wow, the weather in London this week has been amazing! And all this beautiful sunshine is very conducive to pretty photos - I think these are some of my all-time favourites on Take Courage...

Annoyingly I have been at work most of the week (well, who else is going to reform wildlife law?!) but the Texan met me at my office yesterday evening and we had a little picnic under the blossom trees in St James's Park. If you're not a Londoner (and even if you are), you have to go to this park one day - it's the prettiest one in the city and in the springtime it is a wonderland, with pelicans and parakeets and a carpet of daffodils... It really is a little slice of heaven.

I'm glad you all seemed to like the film photos I posted on Tuesday - the Texan and I have been snapping away all week so I should have some more to share soon. I never thought using film could be so much fun... Film was neglected for a little while when digital cameras started to take off, but it's having something of a renaissance lately and I couldn't be happier about it :)

The Texan and I are off to Brighton on Saturday (I promise to take lots of photos on the Zenit!) but sadly the sunshine is not forecast to make an appearance at the weekend...boo. Hopefully the seaside and fish & chips will make up for the lack of soleil!
