Where's Wally?

I always feel a little bit like Where's Wally in this sweater but I love it - it's so comfy, and comfort is exactly what I need right now because I am KNACKERED. I realised that I haven't had a proper day off in 5 weeks. 5 weeks! Exams then work then four days trekking across Paris and then back to work again has finally caught up with me...

In a vain attempt to shake off my exhaustion, I decided to go out and get some fresh air yesterday afternoon. London is unseasonably warm at the moment (which is a rarity) and so I wanted to at least spend a little bit of time enjoying the sun and people-watching.

The best place, I think, to people-watch in London is just outside the British Museum. I always like to make-up narratives in my head about the people around me - the tall man with the long neck is a Russian ballerina performing at the ROH, the girl reading "Peer Gynt" is having a tempestuous affair with a Norwegian playwright, the couple embracing on the bench are actually related and don't yet know it... Do any of you find yourself doing this?!

After 20 minutes of story telling, my feet wandered down to Liberty where I picked up this funny little notebook as a gift for a friend. I'd actually seen it before on Becky's lovely blog so thank you Becky for bringing it to my attention - I love it! And I hope my friend will too :D

What I'm wearing -

Breton sweater: Aubin & Wills

Denim shorts: Vintage, Wrangler

Tights: Gap

Loafers: Kate Kanzier

Satchel: Cambridge Satchel Company

Gosh, can you get any more stunning! Wish we could meet soon, but I know you are busy... And that satchel, and those loafers...ahh! My hunt for satchels has been going on for years, but I am more determined than ever as I want to be a "proper" Oxford student! Hahaha! Just scrolling down through to the Paris photos - they are also beautiful. x

I was actually just thinking "I have that notebook!" so thank you for the lovely surprise of linking to my blog! :)

I also ordered that top a while ago but it looked like a sack on me so I'm jealous it looks so great on you. Great mind etc., etc....

Enjoy a well-earned rest! x

I would love to meet, especially before you head to Oxford! Things should get a bit less hectic for me over the next few weeks - if you're free and in town just let me know and we could get tea and cake somewhere pretty?

I think they should make a 'Bloggers I met and liked'!
